Moral Kombat is a service operated by SyQuest Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our").
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of moralkombat.gg and related services (the "Service"), operated by SyQuest Labs LLC ("Moral Kombat," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at support@moralkombat.gg.
4. The Service
Moral Kombat lets users challenge one another to live, structured debates that are streamed to an audience, who watch, react, and vote. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may set or change limits on the Service.
5. Acceptable use and conduct
Your use of the Service is governed by our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms. Among other things, you agree not to harass, threaten, or harm others; post illegal content; manipulate votes; impersonate others; or interfere with the Service. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Guidelines.
6. Your content and the license you grant
You retain ownership of the content you create, including your debate audio, video, and chat ("User Content"). To operate the Service, you grant Moral Kombat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, stream, record, display, distribute, and create derivative works of your User Content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe the rights of others.
Recording and livestream consent
By entering a debate, you consent to being recorded and livestreamed, and you understand that recordings may remain publicly available after the debate ends. Do not participate if you do not agree to be recorded.
7. Virtual items, Coins, and payments
- Coins are a limited license to use a digital feature of the Service. They have no monetary value, are not your property, and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
- Gifts are purchased and sent using Coins. Sending a Gift earns the receiving debater Props.
- All purchases are subject to our Refund & Billing Policy.
- Platform fee — The Platform retains 15% of all gifts and tips transacted through the Service. The remaining 85% is credited to the receiving debater.
- We may manage, regulate, control, modify, or eliminate Coins, Gifts, and Props at any time. Props are for recognition and rankings only; they have no cash value and cannot be converted into real-world payouts, and debater cash-out of Props or earnings is not currently available.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including the Moral Kombat name, logo, and all related branding, software, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without permission.
9. Third-party services
The Service may link to or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of users.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moral Kombat and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Moral Kombat harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
